How do I get to Melaleuca Mountain Chalets? We are located 170 km West of Sydney CBD
Co-ordinates for GPS: S 33°43.288 E 149° 56.516 Elevation 1173m
Finding Melalueca Mountain Chalets.
Travelling from Sydney either via the Great Western Highway through Katoomba or through Bell via the Bells Line of Road through to Mt Victoria. A short distance past Mt Victoria you will come to the Hartley Historical Village on your left hand side. Keep going until you pass the speed camera’s above and on your left.
Take the next road to your left which is Jenolan Caves Rd and is clearly sign posted to “Jenolan Caves”. Drive 24 km’s along Jenolan Caves Rd until you come to the major road on your right which is Duckmaloi Rd, turn right into it then drive 16 km’s.
When you pass a large green roofed home on your right, you will go around a right hand bend, slightly down the hill and the gate to Melalueca is on your right hand side. Fully Marked.
If you continue along the road you will end up at Oberon. So do not go that far.
On the days when the property is open for inspection large signs will be on display at the entrance gate, you won’t be able to miss them.
